18 oreos (whatever flavor you choose)
1 brick cream cheese
2 cups semi-sweet or white chocolate chips
1T. Vegetable Oil
Instructions:
1. Open cookies and scrape the filling into a bowl.
2. Crush cookies (in bag or food processor)
(make sure the cookie are crumb size. Place 2 T in a bowl for sprinkles
3. In a bowl mix filling cream cheese, cookie crumbs and filling from cookies until blended.
4. Shape into 24 (1 inch) spheres
5. Place on plate and freeze for 10 minutes.
6. Place wax paper on large plate.
7. Melt chocolate chips and vegetable oil in a microwave safe dish. Start with 1 minute and then stir. Continue in 15 seconds (stirring after each time) intervals.
8. Dip each sphere in the melted chocolate.
9. Place on wax paper.
10 Sprinkle with your reserved crushed cookie or sprinkles.
11. Place in refrigerator until coating is cooled.

These have been my favorite muffins of all time. When I was in elementary school I used to go to my friend Beth's home and her mom always made these. They have been shared with thousands of students in my 27 years of teaching. While I don't make these too often, it is always a nice treat every once in a while. Thanks Mrs. Phillips for the recipe!
French Breakfast Puffs
1/6 cup shortening
1/6 cup butter or margarine
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 cup flour
1 1/2 tsp baking POWDER
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/2 cup milk
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Grease muffin tin
2. Preheat oven to 350°
3. Cream together shortening, butter and sugar using a mixer.
4. Then stir (not with mixer) in egg.
5. Add baking powder and nutmeg.
6. Add half the flour and stir.
7. Add half milk and stir
8.Add rest of flour and rest of milk. Stir until completely combined.
9. Fill muffin tin 1/2 full.
10. Bake for 25-35 minutes checking at 25 to see if done.
They will look pale so don't over cook. Check with a toothpick or fork to see if they are done.
Let Cool COMPLETELY
11. Melt 1/2 cup butter and leave keep in a bowl.
12. Combine 1 cup sugar and 1-1 1/2 tsp cinnamon in another bowl.
13. Dip each muffin, top and bottom in butter to cover(do not let it soak in the butter)
14. Roll in cinnamon/sugar mixture.
Let harden a little before eating.
